Currently studying at The Juilliard School (Class of '30), David Choi is a rising pianist on the international stage. An alumnus of Stanford Online High School and the Colburn Music Academy, where he studied under Hye-Jin Kim and Fabio Bidini, he has captured top honors at the Kaufman International Youth Piano Competition and the Hilton Head International Piano Competition.

​A distinguished performer, David has appeared as a soloist with the Sendai Philharmonic, Hilton Head Symphony, and Vancouver Symphony Orchestras. His international presence includes recital debuts at the renowned Salle Cortot in Paris and the Yamaha Ginza Hall in Tokyo. He has also refined his artistry through masterclasses with Stanislav Ioudenitch, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, and Wha Kyung Byun.

David earnestly believes that music is a process of discovering what it means to be human and how to better oneself in the service of others.
